In Queens the A branches off after Rockaway Blvd some trains go to the Rockaways and some to Lefferts Blvd. ![]() ![]() Through the years it was extended into Brooklyn and finally to Queens in 1956. The A originally ran from 207th Street in Upper Manhattan and terminated at Hudson Terminal (Chambers Street) on September 10, 1932. The A line is one of the most famous lines in New York City.
